How Grenada is laid out
Grenada has six parishes plus the sister islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Almost all resort, expat and university life sits in the south-west parish of St. George — Grand Anse, Lance aux Epines, True Blue and the south-coast peninsulas — within twenty minutes of Maurice Bishop International Airport. St. David to the east is quieter and greener, with Westerhall Point and La Sagesse; St. Andrew holds Grenville, the second town; St. Patrick in the far north offers the wildest coast and the best-value land; and Carriacou is a ferry ride into a slower decade. We list in all of them.
